Meet Dr. Moon

Dr. Sungjun (Andy) Moon is a skilled general dentist committed to providing high-quality care to his patients. Born in South Korea and raised in Calgary, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary before moving to Edmonton to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with multiple academic achievement scholarships from the University of Alberta.
Upon graduation, Dr. Moon practiced dentistry for underserved populations in Northern Alberta and got involved in the community by volunteering his time routesetting at the local climbing facility. During his many trips to the Okanagan, he always knew that this place was where he wanted to settle down with his wife in pursuit of work-life balance and to enjoy outdoor activities.
By providing his patients with oral health education and getting them actively involved in theprocess, he believes he can help them achieve the best possible treatment outcomes.
As an active member of the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals and the British Columbia Dental Association, Dr. Moon looks forward to meeting and serving the patients of West Kelowna. Come by for a check-up exam, fillings, bonding, root canals, wisdom tooth extractions, crowns, bridges, or veneers. For patients that may have dental anxiety or feel more comfortable with receiving care under sedation, both nitrous oxide/laughing gas or oral sedation can be accommodated.
In his spare time, you can find him rock climbing (ask him about his trips to Squamish, the Bugaboos, Canmore, Utah, Mexico, Thailand, and more!), hiking, backpacking, skiing, or fine-tuning his morning cup of coffee.
